Moulded glass containers are made in one-step: from a molten glass gob to a bottle in one continuous forming process, therefore the chemical profile is undisrupted. The blow-and-blow or press-and-blow process can be high speed production, the glass experiences huge temperature change in a short time, in relative term, the aspect quality of mould glass is not as good as tubular glass (except glass made for beauty products), but moulded glass remains still the choice packaging material because of its chemical integrity, homogeneity, resistance to thermal or mechanical shock, precision in dimensions, neck quality and superb performance in customers' lines.
