Tubular glass containers are made in two-steps: tube making and converting to containers. The 2 steps are not necessary finished under one roof, so it requires two expertise to perfect the tubes and the containers. It is a challenge to achieve an ultimate HC1 in hydrolytic resistance in tubular containers. Tubular glass containers are widely used because of its superb clarity, small sizes, thin wall thickness and flat bottom to ensure even heat transfer during lyophilisation.
